MA FINAL PROJECT
I’ve designed 4 motion posters for my final MA project. Every poster was designed in Adobe AfterEffects using kinetics typography technique to animate.
Task
Create motion posters for my final MA project based on topic User Enagagement With Posters.

Title:
KEEP YOUR DISTANCE
Purpose:
Social Awareness
Goal:
Get more awarness on social distancing in current covid pandamic situation.
Discription:
The COVID pandemic has profoundly affected our daily lives and remains a major concern for everyone. I want to create an interactive poster that effectively conveys this message to the audience. Animated posters are an excellent resource for promoting awareness through social media channels.
My research for this poster involved examining the NHS website and their public resources, such as banners and flyers. I incorporated elements like the NHS logo and background graphics related to COVID-19. The message “KEEP YOUR DISTANCE” serves as a common slogan to raise awareness about the pandemic. Maintaining distance from one another helps reduce the spread of the virus and saves lives. My poster design begins with the simple headline “KEEP YOUR DISTANCE.” After two seconds, I animate the text using kinetic motion graphics, stretching the “E” from “KEEP,” the “R” from “YOUR,” and the “D” from “DISTANCE.” This movement creates the illusion that the remaining letters are keeping a distance, emphasizing the importance of social distancing in the current situation.

Title:
SAVE WATER
Purpose:
Environmental Awareness
Goal:
Convey the message that saving water saves
people lifes and how it impacts life on earth.
Discription:
The concept for this poster originated from my Master’s Project-1, where I designed a poster with a similar goal but featuring two static images: one of dry land and the other depicting a water-filled landscape with birds flying in the sky. This was intended to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our Earth and conserving natural resources.
For this poster, I used the main heading “SAVE WATER” as the focal point and incorporated a water effect into the text. In the animated version, I added liquid animation to create the effect of water dripping from the top and overflowing over the text, effectively communicating the poster’s message. Additionally, I included charity logos and the slogan “Save Water. Save Lives.” to enhance the content and draw attention to the issue.

Title:
Arts University Bournemouth
Purpose:
Promotional
Goal:
Grab user attention to increase brand awareness.
Discription:
This poster is quite different from the previous two I created. For this design, I used the university’s name and an image of the main campus building to create an advertising-style visual. My goal was to gain experience experimenting with fonts and various design styles, so I chose a different approach compared to the earlier posters. The poster features a simple animation where the university name rotates along a black strip surrounding the campus image.

Title:
Arts University Bournemouth
Purpose:
Promotional
Goal:
Grab user attention to increase brand awareness.
Discription:
This poster, like the previous one, is designed for promotional purposes. I explored the university website for events and chose one to feature. While the static version can be used on social media, I felt it lacked the attention-grabbing quality I wanted. Therefore, I decided to add animation to the shapes instead of the text, which sets it apart from my earlier designs. All the text blocks remain in place, while the shapes, inspired by the AUB main logo, shift in the opposite direction. The main theme of the poster revolves around a summer school exhibition where participants showcase their artwork, so I aimed to make the shapes resemble posters displayed on a wall.
